Cookie Dough Truffles

These are addictive, and no raw eggs in it! Tastes like chocolate chip cookie dough wrapped in a chocolate coating.

1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 & 1/4 cups flour
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 & 1/2 pounds semisweet chocolate candy coating, chopped (also called almond bark)

In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar til fluffy. Add the flour, milk and vanilla, mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips and walnuts. Shape into 1 inch balls (dough will be sticky); place on waxed paper lined baking sheets. Loosely cover and freeze for a couple of hours.
In a microwave safe bowl, melt candy coating, stirring often til smooth. Dip balls in coating (I place one ball on a fork, dip it in, and shake it a little to allow excess chocolate to fall off). Place on waxed paper lined baking sheets. Refrigerate until firm. Store in the refrigerator, and these also freeze well. About 5 dozen.
